Teach students how to balance gaming with other real-life responsibilities

At our assembly talks we unpack how young people sometimes get caught up in technology and teach them strategies on how to avoid this risk.

We use rich stories

Through rich story-telling we connect with the students, build empathy and teach them how to reach out for help when gaming is affecting theirs or their friends’ lives.

We have fun

At the same time we celebrate games and have fun. Video games are very much at the centre of youth culture these days and we value and respect that. By showing we understand their world we create a trust that allows us to discuss potential risks and how to deal with these.

We focus on empathy & peer support

The assembly talks focus on empathy and peer support. Students walk away with an understanding of what can go wrong in gaming and how to seek help for themselves or for their friends.
